Remembering The Fallen by Hauwa1: 2:44pm On May 31, 2010
today is vet day. may the souls of the men and women who died during any of the wars protecting freedom in USA rest in peace.

Democracy is not free. For everything pple are enjoying in the USA, the military are at work 24hrs 7days all year round. We are protecting the country and the world from terrorists, Al Q, Muslim fanatics etc . . . from the sea, the space, the borders . . . just name it. God bless the Army, Marine, Navy, Airforce, and Coast Guard for their work and for willing to give up their life.

your sacrifice wasn't in vain. we are enjoying America because of the life you all gave. God bless the family you left behind. RIP in peace . . .

you mean remembering the victims of failed diplomacy or the victims of militatry industrial complex and war hawks?

everyday we hear of the soldiers as ''americas best'', yet no president will send his or her child to be among ''america's best''

in the us a child makes his own life and no one can make their child take any profession however presidential children have become soldiers.  in the last century Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Carter have had children serve as did joe biden. infact- ted roosevelt was one of the first troops sent into france durring ww1
Re: Remembering The Fallen by preselect(m): 5:27pm On Aug 19, 2010
which ted roosevelt?
only fdr had his son serve in the military during war, while he was president.
pls correct me if i'm wrong

Troops are coming home. Thank you and your families for your sacrifice. Even though most didn't agree with the war, you served with courage and conviction and the people are grateful.

It's gonna take a long to undo all of W's mess.

Promise made.

Promise kept.

Prince Harry apparently served in Iraq, he served for a couple of weeks surrounded by his own body guards before his family leaked it to the American press and he was forced to come back because of security concerns hmmmm, i think it was a PR stunt to make it him out to be a real soldier when infact he's a racist prince that spends thousands of pounds in niteclubs in Central Londdon but won't give a penny to a charity he set up for orghans in South Africa. na wa for these people in public eye always making out they care for the poor and under-priviledged but won't put their money where their mouth - they prefer people to donate to their charity and sadly only 10% goes to the people they claim to want to help. God damn them all.

george bush drafted into the texas air national guard during vietnam era, but was selected to protect the texas territorial space during the war grin . . . . his dad was influential at the time
al gore drafted into the military, was sent to vietnam . . . . . . as a photographer grin . . . . . his dad was in congress
bill clinton . . . . . .voicemail grin
richard chenney . . . dodged it for about 3-5 attempts to draft him, then got to learn of the marriage waiver, he married and was never considered for war grin

watch the movie . . ''flags of our fathers'' to see how the US treats its real war heroes.
