Without a shadow of doubt, Miracles in Calabar with Bishop Josef Bassey goes down in history as the most impactful crusade that has ever held in the capital city of Cross River State. Miracles in Calabar is an annual non denominational event sponsored and driven by Patners of Bishop Josef Bassey Ministries, who himself is the Presiding Priest of God's Heritage Global Mission. The crusade which held in The U. J. Esuene Sports Stadium on the nights of the 30th and 31st of May, 2018 clearly demonstrated that the fervent prayers of those dwelling in Calabar had evidently arrested Heaven's total attention and are now paying eternal dividends.

Those two nights of the crusade are noteworthy not only because of the ten of thousands gathered at the epochal event but also because of the public exposure of the works of darkness, the classic deliverances of destinies from satanic yokes and imprisonment, the clear conviction of the Holy Spirit on lost souls to turn over their lives to Jesus and the unending mind blowing testimonies which are still trickling in, in its aftermath.

Even upon the first announcement of this august meeting, the Holyspirit proved to the inhabitants of Calabar that they were on the threshold of something unprecedented, by performing innumerable Pre Miracles in Calabar miracles. In the weeks before the crusade had even begun, the God of Josef Bassey healed a man of 8 years of erectile dysfunction, revived a foetus medically certified to be 3 weeks dead, disgraced, humbled and converted a renouned native doctor and his entire family, healed and restored strength to the limbs of a young man that had been paralyzed and immobilized for 18 months, restored the sight of a boy that had been blind for three years, terminated an affliction of 20 years of unmanageable asthmatic attacks, delivered a woman from 4 months of violent insanity to mention but a few!

As one major miracle occurred after another, the news spread like rapid fire in the city, bringing more people desperate for similar perculiar encounters, down to the venue of Miracles in Calabar.
On Wednesday night, the first night, dark ominous clouds filled the sky as far as the eye could see and before long the rain began to patter. Ordinarily, people would have been driven away but to the contrary,they trooped into the stadium and were dancing and singing praises to God, right under the rain. The massive crowd looked like a boiling sea as they moved in the heavily saturated atmosphere to the Spirit-inspired ministrations of the legendary Pastor Johnny Apanke and the greatly celebrated superstar, Joe Praize. You could touch their hunger and sense their hope and feel their anticipation. When the moment they were waiting for came, the man of God, Bishop Josef Bassey stepped up to minister and the rain relented to a light drizzle and eventually stopped.
Then the miracles began to erupt and the entire staduim exploded in excitement.

The God of MIC was out to totally expose the incompetence of the power of darkness, humiliate the devil and show off His supremacy, for almost everyone that had a one-on-one encounter with the man of God confessed that they had consulted with witch doctors and engaged shrines in their search for help and power but their situation had only gotten from bad to worst.

Bishop Josef Bassey in partnership with the Holy Ghost was working strongly in the Word of Knowledge. He revealed the case of
a young man who in his desperate search for money had taken the advice of his friends to use his child for money rituals. Fortunately for the child, he was unsuccessful and as a result became completely paralyzed from the waist down. He suffered silently and couldn't confess to anyone, even to his wife who took him everywhere and did everything in search of a solution for nine long months. It was at Miracles in Calabar that God's mercy overtook his case. His miracle was the first to be recorded as he stood up all by himself from the ground where he had been laid flat on his back. Unaided, he took shaky steps, for the first time in nine months, towards the podium. God's servant revealed his secret and he confessed same to the hearing of the crowd's astonishment.

God's servant also revealed the case of another young man that had gone to a shrine to secure powers inorder to enable him travel to Italy in search of greener pastures. In his desperation, this man had vowed to pay the native doctor $20,000 when he succeeds but he paid only $5000 and then stopped. The man confessed that when he got tired of paying and he stopped, he found himself in Nigeria without knowing how he got back. He also noticed that he couldn't breathe well, talk well or stand up straight for up to thirty minutes. At mid twenties, his strength was failing. He said an evil presence followed him everywhere so he was constantly on the run and lived everyday afraid for his life. His friend had taken him to another "powerful" native doctor for help but he got worst and couldn't even pay the N50,000 he was billed. God's servant stopped his narrative and put his mantle over his head and he started vomiting blood. Tears streamed from his eyes as the demons inside him struggled. Then he fell asleep and it was all over. He had to be woken up and he rose to his feet completely transformed and free. He gave his life to Christ there and then and the man of God counselled him to allow God's will for his life prevail.

Business were not left out in these power invasions. A caterer who for the past one year had always had to eat up the food she cooked for sale so that she doesn't lose out entirely in her venture, encountered the anointing to prosper on that first night. The following day, she cooked as usual but this time she sold out everything before noon. She cooked again and sold out again. She said she even cooked in the night of that second day at the venue and was selling rapidly!

An aged man walked in leaning on a cane. He had been partially blind in both eyes for seven years. He couldn't read and couldn't see features or people clearly. The Holy Ghost power located him where he sat and healed his eyes. He was given the Power For Excellence Devotional to read and he did so without hesitation. His joy was uncontainable. He knelt before the man of God, lifted his now useless walking cane in the air and thanked him for the crusade and his God for the full restoration of his sight.

A elderly woman who had a severe hearing impairment and was using a cochlea to aid her hearing, took off the device because she could now hear clearly. She said,"I bought this hearing aid for N150,000 and it had served me for sometime but recently I realized that my problem had worsened because even when I wear it, I couldn't hear any sound anymore. Right now God has healed me. I can hear everything very well without any difficulty"

A woman possessed with marine spirit was delivered effortlessly. Hers was a curious case as she came with her twin boys who were both deaf and mute.The boys were her primary concern but the man of God revealed to her that she had caused the problem her children and she were currently undergoing. In interviewing her, he divulged that she after she had gotten married, she had gone back to the boyfriend she had dumped and he, pained by her earlier betrayal, had cursed the twins so as to make her suffer. As the crowd clapped in wonder, the woman shocked and ashamed, confirmed everything God's servant said as true. While she was being delivered, the demon in her arose and challenged the man of God. Its said, it was tired of God's servant's destruction of its works and warned him to stop or be dealt with. That show of false bravado released a barrel of laughs from the crowd and the demon was casted out of her after crawling about on the field on all fours; lost, overpowered and defeated. The woman fell flat to the ground and stood up again free from that captivity.
God's servant now turned to the twins and laid his hands on them an d lossened their ears and tongue instantly. Both boys spoke clearly into his microphone and repeated what he whispered to them, confirming that indeed the yoke had been destroyed!

In yet another case, God servant called out a man by his full names. When the man ran out, the man of God probed him about a wicked act he had secretly committed.He disclosed that the man had stolen N2.5m naira from a company he had worked in last year. To cover his tracks, he had taken N1,500 from the money and cast a satanic spell on it and given it to an unsuspecting collegue. This collegue was caught and blamed for the stolen N2.5m and had been incacerated for nine months. The man denied that he had done these things and because that implied that the Spirit of God was lying, God servant told him to quietly go back to his seat. As he walked away for the podium, a most perplexing incidence occured; for suddenly this same man stopped in his tracks, right in the middle of the football field, in front of a mammoth crowd and took off all his clothes. As soon as he was stark naked, he became mad! Fear gripped everyone and cries and pleas for God's servant to have mercy on him rend the air. Mercy prevailed and his sanity was restored by a single prayer from the man of God. The man was led away by the protocol after he confessed that he had indeed stolen the money and he gave his life to Christ. On the second day of the crusade, he returned to testify and announced that he had decided to report himself to the police so his former colleague who was wrongly accused can be released.
