A 1.5km long road carved in cliffs in Shenlongwan Village in Changzhi City, north China, has become a tourist attraction.

The road which was built to connect isolated Shenlongwan to the outside, is now even regarded as the Ninth Wonder of the World. The construction of this miraculous road lasted for fifteen years from 1985 to 2000, and was built purely by the villagers, Xinhua reported.

After reading the heading on front page, I thought it was actually done in Nigeria.


This is a village with same goal in mind and development as their aim, despite their shortcomings.


Here in LAGOS, when I see some streets and the number of boys who put barricade in front of it just to collect money from bus drivers who ply the street when there is traffic on the major road, you will think they have good intentions to utilize the money well.... but alas, na weed and tramadol den go use am smoke for paraga joints come use the rest take carry olosho for night..


We need to change our mentality in this country else we will keep getting the kind of leaders we have.
