Some Architecture students of Yaba College Of technology were briefly detained yesterday night after their Head of Department denied them.

The students reportedly left their school in the evening due to the school policy of closing the architecture studio by 9 pm. They still had assignments and projects to do and decided to go to the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) to complete it.



On getting to the UNILAG studio, the students were questioned by the security guards who demanded that they provide proof that they were students. They were instructed to call their HOD who would serve as the sole determinant of their claim.

Unfortunately, to the dismay of the students, the HOD allegedly denied knowing them and instructed the security men to arrest them and hand them over to the police.
