The federal government today in a media briefing have released a list of ten pilot states that will drive the call for the establishment of cattle ranches.

In the meeting it was agreed that the establishment of cattle colonies is not feasible rather, they proposed the establishment of ranches as a better means of ending the red-hot farmers-herdsmen crisis which have been causing great havoc to the country most especially in the socio-economic affairs of the country.

Furthermore, the establishment of the cattle ranches is expected to boost the nations economy by using modern techniques to ensure maximum efficiency in the practice.

Below is the list of the ten pilot states:
Adamawa
Benue
Ebonyi
Edo
Kaduna
Nasarawa
Oyo
Plateau
Taraba
Zamfara
