For me I read chase n apply em to real life situation sotey I had friends group of chase readers. We share. Amongst ourselves. Funny me, I crammed, his concept n pattern n attempt to write one 4 myself(don't no y I did not complete dat book 'demit').Mallory was not Jh chase original write up. Just like 2pac music produced after his death with computer aided device.

These books thought us the use of English, aPPlication of circumstantial words and phrases and helped our generation to write standard Queens' English and not these present day movie jargons and the pho-nee we hear from some half baked graduates and some acclaimed English tutors.

Almost all his books in the 80s. He was a mentor that was never seen. He nade me to excel in the use of English language. Sadly, his works could not hold me again when i discovered the works of Sydney Sheldon, Harold Robbins and this man whose works were solely devoted to legal matters. World has changed now, our youths are only interested in in snap chat, Instagram etc etc. I'm not blaming them. Maybe all these will also become history in another 30 years time
John Grisham or Michael Connelly?

110. Like most I got them off my older cousin after getting through all his Nick Carter. First was 74, last in 96. Ten or so in French, one German. I can't remember one single story from any one of them despite reading a few more than a couple of times! Spent every kobo I got hold of on James Hadley Chase.
