Chioma Omeruo, wife of Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has slammed former Nigerian captain Austin jay Jay Okocha for expressing his disappointment at her husband’s performance in the Super Eagles loss to Argentina.

“I am a bit disappointed with Omeruo, he would have seen the run of Messi and maybe take a step or two to be able to cut that ball off.” Okocha said during his analysis of the game on SuperSport.

Reacting to the comment by Jay Jay Okocha, Chioma, who tied the knot with her husband Kenneth Omeruo last month, slammed the Nigerian football legend by calling him a mad mad.

Okocha was right, madam too is right, can we hear something else, please?

That was completely uncalled for. While we admit Omeruo is a good defender. It is not out of place to call him out if he made some errors on his job. Jay Jay was only analysing the game, he never insulted Kenneth. His wife is just an uncultured lady. Jay Jay and Kenneth are not mates in terms of age, career, fame and wealth. Someone needs to teach the local girl to avoid unnecessary negative attention for her husband. In voicing out your anger, it is OK to apply tact and diplomacy. Football is an extremely emotional game. Yakubu Aiyegbeni has not been forgive 8 years after. We saw Messi's fan commit suicide. So this girl should be trained to respond properly in public. I am not one to call fellow women gold digger but it is obvious she is reacting because of the guys money. If he was a failed bencher in Nigeria's Premier league she would distance herself from him. I am a fan of both Jay Jay and Kenneth.
