I don't know about highest paid, as that's not standardized in most of Africa. But I would say the most lucrative profession in Nigeria is accounting.
The Guardian did a survey some years back, and accountants topped the list of most wanted employees, followed by commissioned salesmen/business developers. Engineers came a distant third
