The op is a daft. I finished my nysc on june 06 2011 i.e P.o.p then my nysc cert. Has till july 5th as validity date. It cant be more than a month from p.o.p. The D.G Cant leave office afta 8months and still be signing a document. Why all these twist is cos the man is dead.

Chairman you are not making sense now. Even you yourself reason with what you are saying? does it make any sense to you. So she deferred for 8 years? even if she did that she still didn't qualify for exemption since she initially graduated at 22. When I was serving, there were several adults above 30 that served with us all for several reasons but mainly because they couldn't get an exemption because they didn't qualify.

What Kemi should have done was serve her 1 year whenever she was back. Just because she is now over 30 when she got back didn't exempt her from the service. The Law is the Law. Stop defending Illegality.

Stop delving into what you know nothing about. Your brain is too little to know what you are talking about. Leave this to people in the know.

First of all the calligraphy of the number "9" is not in consonance with most NYC certificates, as the number 9 should not have overlapped and its tail should have rested on the line. Secondly the question is at what age did he graduate form the university, If at 22, then she is not liable for exemption on any ground. Thirdly the same idiot who posted his certificate on twitter, refused to acknowledge the fact that, NYSC certificates are pre-signed immediately you exit the orientation camp. We are not talking about an NYSC discharge certificate, but an exemption certificate. To also make Kemi's case worse, the same idiot who put up his certificate which he claimed he finished his scheme in March 2009,and the then DG exited the service in January. That established, but how can another person who also finished in the same April 2009 have the signature of Brigadier General Olawummi on his certificate, and Madam Kemi who finished in September 2009 has general Bomoi as signatory on her certificate. Nigerians are not fools as you all think. We have very smart Nigerians and i am one of them.

It's a pity, I wonder how some people pass their exams when they are still in school. what is the premium time arguments? where did she got the certificate she's been carrying after she graduated at 22, of which all know NYSC issue exemption certificates ONLY to graduate who were above 30 years of age at their graduation according to its LAW. According to the NYSC, she did applied for exemption and it's up to the same NYSC to decide if one was given regardless age or all the BS noise you people are making and also to determine the origin of the cert in question, not you or PT.

Allegations are just allegations, not prof of wrong doing, official indictment or conviction.

She graduated in 1989. But it is possible she was still out of the country till she was ready to come and work in Nigeria in 2009. And you can't apply for certain jobs without an NYSC discharge/exemption certificate. And by then she was above 30. An Exemption certificate could be issued to her then.

You don't get it. The point is whether you are 50 years now, it doesn't matter. You'd have to serve provided you had your first degree (BSc) at or before the age of 30 whether abroad or in Nigeria.That's what the NYSC Act says.

Some officials at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will face sanction when the truth on the exemption certificate saga involving Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun is unravelled.

An official at the Corps, who spoke to Daily Trust off record yesterday, said the agency has commenced inquiry into the saga and will soon come out with a position.

The source said “Although we are still searching the systems and inviting various people to explain what must have happened but we are worried and confused.

“Bomoi (a late former DG of NYSC) left in 2009 January, how come his signature is showing in September 2009 certificate, which is not supposed to be so. It is totally illegal and that alone shows that something is wrong somewhere.

“What is worrisome is how the certificate must have gotten to her. She alone can tell how she got the certificate. We are really praying and hoping she talks but definitely many people will go down if she talks.

“Part of the crime is why anyone should give her an exemption certificate when the person knows she graduated at a young age so she was supposed to be told to go and serve.

“The pressure is on us from the Nigerian society as everyone is waiting on us to produce the evidence that she served or not,” the source, who asked for anonymity said.

Daily Trust attempt at getting narrative from a former NYSC boss, Maharazu Tsiga proved abortive yesterday as he did not call our reporter back as promised.
