Buhari has an added advantage from Nigeria's skewed and lopsided political structure to win.

With 19 states littered every corner of the once one Northern region, but only 17 states in the once two southern regions of Nigeria, it's easy for Buhari to rig and win 25% of votes in each of the 19 northern states, then shop for another 5 states in the South where he can win 25% of votes in each.

He gets that and becomes winner.


Southern politicians not insisting that Nigeria be politically restructured in a democracy implies that they have accepted to play second fiddle to northern politicians through the political structure created by northern soldiers to benefit north politically and economically.
