South Korea on paper might be favoured based on their fast and high work rate teamwork playing style, but Greece is a team known for its compact teamworking style.

South Korea is more likely of the two to play the Africanistic flair and pace kind of game. Greece might play the disciplined European model of football.

PLAYERS TO WATCH (GREECE)

Giorgos Karagounis: The captain and veteran of the national team with close to a century caps. A former Inter player and part of the glorious Greek EURO 2004 Cup winning team. A freekick specialist on his day and fulcrum of the team sitting in the midfield.

Theofanis Gekas: A lethal goalscorer for the national team with a record of almost one goal in every 2 games. He is a former top goal scorer for the "German Bundesliga" and the "Super League Greece". Out of all players across all countries going to the WC, he is the highest goalscorer in the SA 2010 WC qualification phases.

At 24, his rising star is evident as he has 40 caps for the senior team and is the player with the highest number of games played in the WC qualifiers.

Lee Woon-Jae: A 130 caps veteran known in his home country as spider hands. This old soldier at 37 years of age with experience of being at 3 previous WCs and also a penalty-stopper specialist would be the man between the goal posts to stop all attacks that pass the defenders with his webs hands.

The same rule Sagamite stated would still have applied. That play from which the goal arose resembled a corner kick.

Rehaggel is sitting there looking like a clueless mumu. He should be up shouting instructions to the boys.  

There's more structure and sense urgency to the Korean side than the greeks. The greeks are banking on long balls but I see the Koreans getting another goal from a counter attack if the greeks don't step up their game.

These S Korean game shows that a good, fit, and well organized team, even though may not have individual stars, can, one any given day, defeat an unorganized team comprised with individual stars.
