agitator:Utterly asinine. We all know how over time Christianity has been able to change some people from being terribly wicked to being upright. Christianity on its own is not only about making heaven or anything like that, it is also about reflecting the life of Christ. Living an upright life. Trying to do the right things at all times even though you feel tempted to do otherwise. David sinned and repented. He did not continue in his evil ways. So brother, if you have nothing reasonable to say I'd advise you rather not say nothing at all. |

Jesus was definitely not poor. He had access to everything he wanted. If he could feed thousands at will, get the attention of a good number of fish for Peter's use, use a brand new colt on request, dine with the richest men of his time, he definitely wasn't poor. And I don't expect his followers to be either. If pastors are rich, they deserve it. Wealth is a consequence of influence. The most influential man in Nigeria is a pastor and I know that many pastors would be on the first fifty. So by all standards they deserve to be rich. But let me add a twist to it. Do you think it is easy to be a successful pastor? I tell you, it is every inch as difficult as starting a successful company. In case you don't know, many churches don't survive the first 3 years. Among those that do, like 50 percent will never get up to 1000 members. Being a good pastor takes the right blend of leadership skills, charisma, inspiration, caring for your members, solving a need that draws people to you, I am not a pastor and I probably will never be. I also do not support pastors who obtain money from church members under false pretenses (and there are many of such). However, that does not make it wrong for a pastor to be wealthy. And it definitely would be bad and unreasonable logic to conclude that every wealthy pastor is a thief. |

Why dont you all go and start up your own churches and make your own easy money, since its the reigning deal in town. Anyway, I`m not surprised @ the posts, afterall, ignorant men criticize wat they dont understand. Please Nlers, watch your careless comments about such high issues. Its not everything u can disparage and get away with. |

Judging, Criticizing, condemning etc. are no qualities of a good Christian. Our focus should be on discovering the truth for ourself and walking in dat truth, its in the word of God u know, there'll be no room for passing the blame on judgement day. It'll be everyman for himself . God help us all |

mazaje:This just depicts how shallow minded and dumb you are. If you take a look at that particular post, I subsequently talked about the said post. I said it was done for my younger brother who is resident in Nigeria. Now fool, if you are also smart, you'd find out that was the first post I made on Nairaland. Now take a look at when I became a member of Nairaland. I have been a member since 2005. I made that post for him because I felt this would be a better place to get up-to-date information about the mentioned school. I left naija when I was 15 with my elder sister who now lives in Tucson, AZ. Now fool, you said I made use of google and what have you. We all know that even with rich source of information on the internet, it would take only a pretty smart person to read and understand. That is not the case for me. I only intelligently backed up my points with references. Now fool, if you are a sound graduate, answer the simple question I asked. Make use of google or whatever you wanna use to give me a concrete answer let's see how smart you are. Well, if you cannot do that, you could also ask tudor(Your master) to save your a$S. Just in case you wanna come up with some excuse about the question, here is it. How do these organic compounds form a protocell ? Did you do Organic Chemistry in school ? Ode Respond to this post let's see how smart you are |

Now take a look at when I became a member of Nairaland. I have been a member since 2005. I made that post for him because I felt this would be a better place to get up-to-date information about the mentioned school. So what if you joined nairaland in 2005? How does that show that the post and inquiry isn't yours? I left naija when I was 15 with my elder sister who now lives in Tucson, AZ. Now fool, you said I made use of google and what have you. We all know that even with rich source of information on the internet, it would take a pretty smart person to read and understand. When did I say you made use of google?. . . .If you are not smart and very dull others are not as dull as you are, others can easily read things and comprehend as long as they are truly interested in the topic or subject. . . .All I said was that there is a very rich information available on the net an anybody that truly wants to be educated or informed will utilize the resources that are available. . . That is not the case for me. I only intelligently backed up my points with references. Shut up, you did no such thing. . . .Look who is talking about intelligence . . , I can not even put you and intelligence in the same sentence, you might be a lot of other things but intelligent is not one of them. . . Now fool, if you are a sound graduate, answer the simple question I asked. Make use of google or whatever you wanna use to give me a concrete answer let's see how smart you are. Re: Meet The Four Richest Nigerian Pastors. by agitator: 7:46am On Jul 21, 2010 |
My statement was based on the words you have been using to address people as a christian (Christlike) considering the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:22 "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." cryptic: cryptic: cryptic: cryptic: Most of the people who killed during the inquisition saw nothing wrong with it. They had already been brainwashed by the priests and to their knowledge they are defending God. agitator: Not all Christians, may be I wasn't explicit enough. I was referring to people with the kind of thinking you have. For your information, it was priests that killed our Lord Jesus Christ whom you are worshiping now. Not atheists |
Re: Meet The Four Richest Nigerian Pastors. by andyanders: 9:08am On Jul 21, 2010 |
[b]@Tudor, Do not make that kind of statement " they are all rogues" Go and ask for forgiveness from God and repent. DO NOT Judge anyone. These are the true men of God as far as I am concerned. Take their names off your books and repent. Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. Please, DO NOT CALL THEM ROUGES so that you will not be condemned. Be warned. Is not what goes into your mouth that defiles you, but what comes out of your mouth. May God have mercy on you and use you for his kingdom, ONLY if you repent. |

How can I sit back and watch people speak against God's servants ? It is a stupid thing to do. So don't come up here trying to blackmail us with what the bible preaches.
