THE new leadership of the executive board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yesterday wielded its big stick as the two wives of the impeached former president Sani Lulu Abdulahi were dropped from the list of NFF delegates to the FIFA U-20 female World Cup in Germany.

“The fact that the number of delegates has been reduced is obviously caused by the fund available for the NFF to prosecute the championship in Germany.
“We have to concentrate more on the preparation of the team for a good outing in Germany rather than take many people to Germany at this point in time,” sated Singabele, who assured of equal treatment to all workers of the NFF.
The Falconet, which departed Nigeria yesterday under the leadership of NFF Female Football Development Committee Chairman, Princess Bola Jegede, would play against England on July 14 in Group C, which also has Mexico and Japan.
