The Social Security said my card was sent since the first week of June.. I had to request for another card which will come in a weeks time. The Notice for my biometrics came in also. Which State are you ? Happy Independence

It's not possible. Police certificate requires digital and paper fingerprints biometrics to get processed. You have to come back and do it yourself ni.

This is one very reliable method of getting the police report. The form can even be downloaded online.

There is a website called getway.ng that helps with it as well. I dont know how genuine they are But they do look genuine.

If the person concerned is based abroad and will go for his or her interview abroad then its far better and cheaper to do the report online instead of spending money traveling to and fro Nigeria. But if the person's visa interview is in Nigeria, then it's better to get the police report when he or she gets back to Nigeria. It takes less than 4 hrs to get the report at Alagbon.

From the day it was mailed to you, you have three months to respond back & it cannot be extended.

If you received an RFE, the time frame is stated at the front page of the letter.

Sure you should be able to reschedule for an earlier date if you've seen the availability. The earlier the better provided all your requirement(medicals etc) are complete.

Him having 3 kids it's the red flag, the rest is nothing. How do you plan to deal being a step mom of 3? Would you marry a man with 3 kids in Nigeria? Do you have kids? - These are the questions you may hear in the embassy.

Handwritten? I had mine typed, signed & notarized by my witnesses. It looks more official that way.

However, since it wasn’t stated either to send the original or not, I scanned a copy to my fiancée & the original is kept.

Please Nairalanders , I thank each and everyone who has made positive contribution to this forum...Please I have a question...I am not in Nigeria but in one of the Southern Africa country...I have a partner in the State who will be visiting me over here which we intend having our wedding so she can file for me but I realize that would be difficult to do here since I do not a residence permit as I have put in my application for resident permit but hasn’t been out since 4months now...Now I am worried if I should only have my US wife visit me here then we take pics and go nice places then when she goes back to the State and file K1 but am worried since I don’t have my permit now and I have over stayed my visa already... Will it make sense to have my appointment/interview be done in Nigeria but am scared if I won’t have a problem if the CO check my passport during interview and see I over stayed in another country because I don’t know how long getting this permit would still take and am also worried if I leave here I might not be able to make it back... Also does it matter if my partner doesn’t have good credit and has filed for bankruptcy before though she works and earn $15 per hour....Thank you all and hope to get a reply .

It is an affidavits (written statement)of friends, neighbors or any knowledgeable associates who knows about the case (Beneficiary and Petitioner) are trying to prove.

Mostly, it is required whenever the USCIS is trying to establish the two years meeting requirements.
