how can i change image background without dragging the image. If i trim the image with polygonal tool and i try to put another background, it always give me a large image than the original size. Pls what can i do? |
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 4:19pm On Jul 26, 2010 |
that happens due to the difference in resolution of both images (the one you are working on and the background) if you dont want that to happen then you have to resize both image before you start. besides even if the size is too big, then what you can do is to convert the big one to a smart object then you can scale it down without harming pixels. how can i soft or smooth an image skin. |
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 11:24pm On Jul 27, 2010 |
there are many ways to apply or smooth a skin in photoshop but i would take my prefered route 1. Duplicate the image 2. Apply gaussian blur 3. Put a layer mask on the blurred image 4. fill the layer mask with black (the white rectangle box by the side of your image is selected) 5. then with a brush of 50% opacity or less and white color brush over the skin you want to soften and voila! |

Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 2:49pm On Sep 17, 2010 |
For the Lipstick turorial, first of all make a selection of the lips.
|
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 2:51pm On Sep 17, 2010 |
then with any selection tool, right click on your selection and choose layer by copy (you can use layer by cut but I dont advise that since it a destructive editing technique)
|
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 2:54pm On Sep 17, 2010 |
next go to layer > new adjustment layer > Hue/Saturation then increase the saturation to a high value, move the hue to choose the color of "lipstick" you want
|
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 2:56pm On Sep 17, 2010 |
after selecting the hue and saturation, right click on the hue and saturation layer and choose "create clipping mask" so as to restrict the effect to the lips.
|
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 2:58pm On Sep 17, 2010 |
feel free to move the hue slider to change the results as you wish (double click on the Hue/Saturation layer)

how can i resize and arrange picture to passport. secondly how can i change picture background. |
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 11:33am On Sep 18, 2010 |
it depends on the size of the passport but generally these are the steps 1. Open a new document and put the passport dimensions as the size (1" x 1.5") 2. Import your pic into another document and using the crop tool crop the portion you want to use. 3. press Ctrl+A to select all and Ctrl+C to copy. 4. Go to the blank document (step 1) and press Ctrl+v to paste your pic. 5. Its likely that the pic may be oversized and biger than the passport size, go to the pic layer and press Ctrl+T for the the transform tool 6. Holding Shift and Alt keys, click and drag on one of the corner handles to scale your pic down as needed. 7. Save your document. |

Thanks for your response. I still have problem with changing of picture background, if u can try to explain it 2 me. |
Re: Ask Your Photoshop Questions Here. by ugo2u(m): 9:15am On Sep 20, 2010 |
there's nothing to changing picture background. 1. Open the two pics in photoshop 2. Press ctrl+a to select all on the picture you want to change the backgroud and then press Ctrl+C 3. Press ctrl+v to paste it into the background 4. Scale the picture you just pasted to suit your needs 5. Then go to layer and click on create layer mask 6. with you brush selected and color set to black gently brush off the areas you dont want to apper on the photo |
