This is to enable all nairalanders who are interested in buying their cars from cotonou know the best time to hit the market and also determine if a particular dealer is trying to overcharge them after the necessary deductions like car de porta, security, battery and clearing. Thus keeping us informed on the dealer with the best deal.

Presently the exchange rate is not so good as compared to sometime in june wen it was about N282 to a 1000cefa

Rate as at 30th july 2010 (9:32am) = N299.17
                                         (9:36am) = N298.80
                                        (9:38am) = N298.79. 
NB: please note that these rates are the mid mkt exchange rates.

@femmy. I agree with you, but the essence of the decimal place is to let nairalanders monitor the prospect of an increase or decrease. Moreover I feel everyone should be able to do that conversion to the nearest whole number.

Thanks for this updates. But they don't change at this rate @ d point of exchange at the boader. Its 298 at d boader but bank rate culd be 291.
