5 days ago i when to C. A to see my brother, you would not  believe how many mexicans are up there!!!. And the other day i went to east L.A and some bleeping mexicans try to start some poo with me, Thank god the cops was there.

Here in warri very few people call white people oyinbo, it's whitey everyone calls them. That's the general slang for white people, even in Benin-city where i schooled it's the same thing.

I don't know if it's a common thing or not for Nigerians as a whole to say Akata or Whitey,  but I am telling you that when I was there present in the South East, South South and South West of the nation the term Akata must of gained an instantaneous popularity or something because we were called that in all three regions on several occasions, and in Benin City is where we were called whitey.

Ehn? In the South-West & South-East you were called 'whitey'? By whom? Haba, that is highly unlikely and totally implausible. By the way, what area in the South-West, are you referring to? And in what part of the South-east did they label you as a 'whitey'? If you had said you were called 'oyinbo',   then, yes, I would have believed you. That sounds more probable. Even then, they would mostly use that term for Caucasians or mulattos, or folks that are quite fair-skinned. Darker folks are hardly called 'oyinbo', unless they find out you have a foreign accent.

Nigerians being racist at home is too far from being true. Lawrence must have been one of those u know what?. The most racist country in the world is Poland. Germany hides it these days because of bad publicity and their past. Yet Eastern part of Germany is the worst.

I already answered this question. I told you'all that it was in Benin City, Edo State, and it wasn't like a continuous term addressed toward us. It happened on just one occasion.

Wow @ hero i dont know if its the same naija i know. I guess u could be called whitey in benin cos of the accent but i dont even know the word akata. I heard it first on this forum in my whole life! I also greatly doubt if the average market girl in naija would know what an AA means.
