I want somebody to pls explain why trioxonitrate(v) acid is not always give hydrogen with metals?

It wont give off hydrogen gas if d metal it's reactin wit is lower dan hydrogen in d electrochemical series i.e displacement reaction will not occur.

Hno3 is a strong oxidizing acid dat is it form water instead of hydrogen.it's is d only acid dt cnt b use 2 prepare hydrogen.

What I know is that NHO3 is a strong oxidizing agent and its reaction with metals above Hydrogen in activity series will not produce hydrogen gas but higher oxides of nitrogen.
