Hello Nairalanders, I am trying to find out the name of this dish. You mix egg, milk and sugar together, you spread the mixture on a slice of bread and then fry the bread.

yep and although called French toast, there is absolutely nothing French about it. i think thats a north american dish.

u also need cinnamon. I dont use sugar bcuz well, i dont. i eat it with maple syrup, which is sweet anyways. but some ppl still add sugar to the mix, but u definitely need cinnamon.

i guess not but some ppl like there's sweet. I don't really care for sweet stuff like that. when i eat with syrup, the sweetness in the syrup does it for me.
