yes broda,i hv use a diff flash but the multi tv decorder is not like dt of strong dt can be upgraded wth flash drive.is their any other way out wth out d use of flash?

actully you much not use strong decoder software on multi tv decoder because their not the same product.you have to get the make of multi tv decoder and look for it,s software.new software for srt 4669x 1.30p it,s a picture in picture very good like 1.11p but not fast boasting like it.thank you

upgrading a decoder is all the same for all types of strong decoder,most important thing is that,first check from the decoder menu for system information which will revile to you the model of your decoder.for a sample you buy a srt 4669x and the name will be on it srt 4669x swhiles infact the system information will tell you srt 4663x.so used the system information model to look for the same software to upgrade,and it will be well with you.after upgrade allow the decoder go-off and come on it,s self.thank

I will said it once again,when you are download a software,you must make sure the software load from 1% to 100%,before loading onto the decoder,hance you will always get your decoder dead.thank you

Has anyone used the new SRT 4930 software patch 1.40p (SRT4930_ALL_140p_20121129.stb) ?
What are the improvements over the previous software versions?
My receiver has this problem of not switching instanteneously when using an 8-way Disecq switch.
How can I get this problem solved. I Have interchanged three times with other 8-way Disecq switches without

any improvement, although all the switches work very well on my SRT 4669.
My SRT 4930 is on 1.34p software and I do not want to update it unless there is some real beneficial
features in the new software.

upgrading to HD model. The software on it is 1.18p (Feb 18 2009) with CH Version shown as: MY TV SEP 2008.
The software info inside however shows: SRT 4663X and the box is made in Korea. It responds very well to
6969, 8282, 8280 etc.
My question is; can I upgrade it with the software known as: SRT4620XII_4661X_4664X_189p_20121125.zip
which I have already downloaded on my PC. I am anxious to remove the MY TV logo of the the current version.
Kindly please advise and let me know if there is a better SW version out there that I can download for this box.

Your question doesn't have a YES or NO answer. It's rather complicated but read this answer below by Satmaniac to somebody in a similar dilemma. I have just copied it from another thread.

satmaniac: In addition to what oga pidzo has said I will lyk to add that,when upgrdading ur reciever there re many technical issues u need to consider.
First and formost the issue of compatibility,the reciever must be compatible with the software.Hence upgrading 4669xii to any of the hd softwares,is like updating your java phone to symbian phone.
Secondly,authenticity_your reciever bieng strong srt4669xii is one thing,but the same reciever bieng original from strong technologies is another thing.if ur software is meant for original strong and ur reciever is fake,then there would be problem when upgradin-u may end up frying ur reciever.because it is madness to flash ur e66(chinese) with e66(nokia) software.hence u have to find out if ur reciever is truly from strong technologies b4 any upgrade.
Lastly,purpose-why do you want to upgrade ur reciever?it may be u want to change the graphics or there is additional satlyt and tp or channels etc.make sure u just have the right software.
Put all these issues above into considerations b4 any upgrade.

I think we are going around in circles. In my inqury about the software to use (see about 4 posts above) I clearly
stated in ENGLISH (not vernacular) that I was anxious to remove MY TV logo of the the current version. I
thought and still think that I was clear "on what I want". This should be possible because I have seen other SRT
receivers booting with "STRONG -not just by name" logo.

I've answered ur question then. I said u should not download d one for Africa.

Does using srt 4930l should go www.crosat.us and download the latest software 1.29 and up grade,after you must also download the decoder srt4930L patches from www.wizkid.persiangig.com and upgrade the decoder with it to give you all patches and dongle option,thank you

What channels exactly do u want to get and wat channels are u currently getting.

If it's the channels on mytv position dat u want, just select emmanuel tv. Press menu on ur remote. Press ok button. Enter 4 zero's. Go down to blind scan. Select. Press ok button again. Select ''start'' on the screen and allow to scan. Exit when its through and the new channels would have been saved for u. Regards.

would like to get all the free channels and even possible others , some of my channels just wiped off mysteriously lately like al jezeeera , joy news and joy sports etc........... and i dont use the smart card .....

still not green boss...... you know am using more than one dish all fixed together in one 3 actually ... maybe an upgrade would do the trick??

U dont need any upgrade. Once u're sure the problem is not from ur dish shaking or something, the above istruction is all u need to get ur channels back.

Also u can add this for more 12560 v 03093 or 12560 v 03050.
