It is a known fact human being may speak one language but think in a different one. In what language do you think? As for me, I speak English language but think mostly in my native language. |

it's a psychological fact, all words either read or heard are been interpreted into one's mother tongue; and ideas are 'cooked' in one's mother tongue then translated into whatever secondary language - all these processes takes place in the brain by the brain in micro-seconds. So when next you hear an hausa man say 'come lets go', it's a crude 'zo muje'; and a yoruba man may 'enter' his shoe and not 'put it on' - crude 'wo bata'. In such instance, the brain did it's job but -mother tongue is strong. What a mystery the brain is. |

I really have paid much attention to it. When I am angry and I think, it is in Igbo. . . I use vulgar Igbo language when I angry When I am thinking about money. . . then it is in English. When I am thinking about a woman. . . it is in Ibibio. |

I think in English, thanks to my English teacher in high school who said we MUST think that way. Trust me,it affects the way i speak my mother tongue. |

Most the time when I am writing or speaking English which I consider my fourth language I think either in French or Arabic but few times also in Portuguese |

As a boy from the south I think In Pidgin mostly and sometimes English. pidgin is my first language before English still trying to grasp Izon or Epie. |
