They've just started 2nd semester, they re 2 end it by january 23rd so wat do u guyz think,when wil dey release online clearance card, let contribute.congratulations 2 us all again

1. O LEVEL RESULT: Please make sure that your O level result is complete. That is you have all the necessary subjects to clear you for your admitted course. If your result is before 2007 try and get the certificate. If it is 2008-2009, try and get the statement of result. If it is 2010 you can print out or your statement of result. Awaiting result should be ready before January 2011; Uniben accepts the combination of two results.

2. JAMB RESULT: Note that there should be no mistake in your name as it appears in JAMB result, if there is, try and correct that with JAMB now otherwise it may affect your admission in future, we will make arrangement for you to print your original JAMB result at a cheaper rate. We will communicate that to you in due course

3. Please note that there should be no mistake in your name as it appears in your O level as this may cost you your hard earned admission. If there is such discrepancy, seek to rectify it with WAEC, NECO or the examination body before the clearance period begins. If you have this kind of problem, you may call for clarification.

4. CHANGE OF NAME: if you did change of name, and your new name is different from what you have in your O level and your JAMB UTME, you will have to do an affidavit of change of name. in addition to that, you will need to put it in a news paper and make sure you know when the news paper publishes your name and keep a copy of it. BUT IF YOU WILL HAVE MY WORD, I WILL ADVISE YOU NOT TO CHANGE YOUR NAME FROM THE ONE IN YOUR OLEVEL RESULT OR JAMB UTME RESULT. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.

5. BIRTH CERTIFICATE: when the online clearance begins proper, you will be asked to provide your birth certificate. The University of Benin prefer birth certificate from National Population Commission, so if you don’t have one or you are unable to obtain one now, you will definitely need affidavit of age declaration.

6. LOCAL GOVT. OF ORIGIN: for the purpose of clearance, you may need to obtain your local government of origin.

Please make sure you have the documents above ready.
Experience has shown that some who attempt to handle their clearance themselves have run into trouble. In order to eliminate error associated with online clearance, we will soon make arrangement for you to do your clearance without coming to Benin.

Lemme try to help

1. Statement of Result from school is the one your school gives you to show you attended that school and took the exams shown on the statement. It is very important to note that this is what you use mainly for admission processes. It must be stamped from the school to prove authenticity.

2. Waec printout is the one from wac where every student who sat for that exam in that particular center i.e the school, are shown. The printout should be photocopied for you. Your name is supposed to be indicated using a pen or marker then signed by your principal/proprietor and stamped. The printout is also important for your registration. It is part of the many documents that will make up your school file.

3. School leaving testimonial is not important IMO. Most Unis don't ask for it, except on rare ocassions which i don't know any about.

4. The letter of I.D from LGA is a document that will be issued to you by your LG confirming that you are an indigene of that particular LG. It will be signed by the LG chairman and stamped. Most Unis include it in their registration requirements.

i asked sum1 (a graduate of uniben)and he said it is beta 2 use d printout,if d certificate is nt ready than 2 use d statement of result 4rm d school.

confusion. 10x mixpressive, Well i'll just take my waec printout(not the master list) go to my ex-school and have it stamped. Statement of result, certificate and waec print-out

dnt allow confusion 2 set in,reach out 2 sum1 around u 2 help throw lite on it. didnt undastand it myself a few daiz ago until i consulted sum1
