Hi the pre facelift models of the C300 wasnt packing enough punch so I went for the 2009 C350 which was fast and the C300 wasnt, but fast forward the 2012 Models the facelifted ones the C300 now packs as much power as the prefacelift C350 248bhp while the 2012 C350 got upgraded the 301bhp.

Personally I would advice the 2012 C350 thats my next car. I would advice the non 4matic cos it has cheaper suspension parts and you kick the tail and screech from a standstill lol.

One reason I don't like the 350 is that it doesn't come with luxury suspension, I don't like sport suspension on the W204 as it is stiff for my liking.
But one thing I also don't like about the facelifed is that the C300 sport or luxury come only in 4matic.

But I like the fact that the facelifed C300 luxury has 248hp, this power is sufficient for me, I can live with the 4matic but I don't know how reliable.

For the W204, my choice will definitely be the 2012 C350 Sports because most of the issues with the early W204 were corrected in 2012 and above. Also direct injection engine was introduced in this year.

I do not like the C300 but like you rightly said,they are equipped with the 4matic though reviews also shows that 4matic isn't problematic as it used to be so you should also not be worried about reliability.

you don't need dipstick Co's it won't give accurate level of the gear oil.
if you are good in DIY, u can empty the gear oil in a pan and measure it with a calibrated container. You should have 5litre of the gear oil.

Ondo ATF (dextron ll) should work fine for you.
Also Check your Gearbox filter if you can or take the Benz to an experienced Mechanic and ask him to check d condition of the filter.

Hello... the salvo is leaking.... but wait... is the break soft when u apply it and does it make hiss noise? u might need to be specific.... coz it might be the one of the sensors.

Avoid C230 Kompressor, the C230 kompressor engine use a timing chain which has been reported to steetch and skip its timing settings.
Get yourself a C200 kompressor (redtop engine). Although the C200 kompressor os less powerful than the C230 kpmpressor, its much more rubost and much more reliable. Engine and gearbox of C200 kompressor w203 cost just about 150,000 NGN.

I totally disagree with u bro.... C200 kompressor is not a reliable ride.... he should go for C320.... V6
I have used both.... so I know quite well what I am saying.

make sure the person advising u is sure about it.... of its not cooling.... many things might be wrong.... get a good AC specialist..... but from experience to overhaul your AC system should cost u 40k plus

After servicing, the days counting refuse to clear and still shows the wrench sign on the dashboard, is this normal. And can the service issue be the cause of it late starting. When it's parked overnight, it starts normal in the morning, but after moving like 3km and the engine is turned off, to start will take a long time. It rolls normal but won't just come on until u tried and tried.

It refused to clear off because the engine stayed too long before u serviced it and now its still registered in the memory... if u want it off from the dash board , get it scanned off.
The other issue might be related to the kick...its wearing out... its cheap to get a replacement....
