Its not easy to knock a brother like Madara down. He always, ALWAYS has a fail-safe plan i.e. Breaking the edo tensei jutsu. So you need a living body+senju DNA to be the host of the ten-tails? I now see why Obito has the upper hand.

The only person that resisted Ibiki's techniques was Pein. Imagine torturing a zombie.

Obito has him by the jugular, so unless he has a way to subdue Obito, madara might just betray him, as a means of punishment.

Remember what Jiraiya said to Ibiki when he couldn't coordinate a group of chunins to take down one of Oro's snakes? Jiraiya asked him if it was "only his body that had grown", making him the only good guy Jiraiya yabbed for being incompetent.
IMO he is just 3 notches above Ebisu.

I'm not a Madara fan-boy, but Madara will own Hidan 101 out of 100 times they battle.

Plus Ebisu used grand fire, shadow clone and flower fire techniques, he isn't a pushover but to even suggest that Ibiki isn't a badass is so insulting I can't shyte well. Kisame saw Ibiki and ran, if that isn't testimony to ability I don't know what is samehada or no samehada.

Geniuses in Naruto usually mean people who learn techniques easily and without hassle eg Sasuke, Neji, Kakashi, Minato and Oroshimaru. Intelligence is different from technical ingenuity.

madara just needs to dismember hidan to render him useless as he can't reattach himself hence his pairing with kakuzu.madara could keep his talking head as a trophy.

Yes all he needs is to get the blood, but to get the blood na long thing, even if he does get the blood an Izanagi will annul the effect of the Jutsu, and I doubt Madara will fall for the same trick twice (except it's Hashirama that's pulling it).

1. I said Kisame ran from IBIKI, not Ebisu.
2.I am too lazy to dig up the actual footage in the ANIME, so here is a direct quote from Naruto encyclopedia
