I'd like 2 know how 2 write a Vb program that'll run in a network enviroment - what are some of the commands in VB6 that facilitate this? how can it be tested if it is written on a stand-alone Pc.
i've never seen e-books that dwell much on such either - pls any clues?

Developing a programme for a network enviroment does not differ from writting for a stand alone PC environment - are u a developer? what do u mean by commands in VB6 that facilitates that - commands to do what within the network?

what i mean is --- commands/codes that enable one Pc connect/transfer data btw Pcs on a network. say for instance, you want to write a file-sharing or p2p programme --- what commands/codes in VB allows you create a connection with another client running the same application & stuffs like that!

what i'm particularly interested is the commands/keywords & their syntax!

with winsock u would send instant msg to a client /server program
