^^ lmao. @devo,private schools have categories, so your statement is fallacy of faulty GENERALIZATION. Loyola Jesuit, Stella Morris, Binta Int'l High School, and host of others are all private school, please don't generalize your statements again.

That private schools rant was pure crap. Though i agree with the part where the high number of unqulaified students put pressure on the Universities making it difficult for the genuine students to get admission.

Admission into a Nigerian university is very hard because 1) Every Nigerian Youth thinks if he doesn't go to a university, then he is a failure( That is why u would see someone writing Jamb ten times, all in the name of gaining admission into a university, when he could easily get admitted into a polythecnic or a college of education with no stress). I will advise our Nigerian youths to start opting for Polythecnics and other relevant tetiary institutions other than wasting their valuable time trying to gain admission into a university. 2)The problem of gaining admission into a university is also due to 'Poor infrastruture and limited learning aids' which are essential as far as university education is concerned. An average university in Nigeria has the capability of admitting just 4000 students per session. If every university in Nigeria is properly upgraded to admit at least 10000 students per session, then i tell u without any iota of doubt or mixed feelings that our problems of 'admission' in this country would drastically reduce. Other reasons include, bad leadership, bribery and corruption, University politics and bad secondary schools amongst others. If we are able to tackle all the above problems efficiently, The problems of Admission into Nigerian University would be HISTORY.

With all due respect, i would like to say that the fact that these schools aforementioned above are popular and expensive schools does not take away the possibility of them being involved in examination malpractises. Infact, most expensive secondary schools are specialist in Examination malpractises; infact, why wouldn't they be? Imagine paying multi-thousands of naira every session just to give ur kid the best of education and he/she brings home a bad result at the end of the day; that could be very painful to the parents you know. Therefore, i would like you to desist from and also rescind ur idea of spreading fallacies and notions indicating that popular and expensive schools don't involve in examination malpractises.Thank You

you have a great point brother but the fact still remains, some university was structured to less than 1000 student in a session and if such univerity were to be upgraded, then imagine what will happen to the product of such school. The lasting solution is to make other institution of higher learning more attractive ,

Tunsbobo, you need to study logic! I wrote that private schools have categories, what does that have to do with exam. malpractices? I didn't wrote anything like those big schools don't cheat in exams. Don't let your emotions take over you, please always act and THINK in a matured way. And also, We're not doing competition on vocab- so don't expect me to praise you because I knew you had to go through dictionaries before you were able to come with those comments of yours. Again, RE-READ my last post and your last post, they bear no correlation! Don't duplicate posts, its childish, always post your comments once.

Mr stevetboy09, i didn't like the fact that u tried to categorise private schools. You mentioned some schools earlier, as though they can not be linked or associated with the matter on ground. I only tried to distinguish some basic facts from each other, in order express disagreement with ur baseless statement. So don't try to complicate issues here by trying to insult me with ur sarcastic assertions and uncooked statements. Thank you.

You can kiss my black arrshh for all I care just make sure you study logic and apply it in your daily living. I know you derive pleasure from seeking trouble, I'll cut that short henceforth. Please there is no need to write big English, I mean, it makes your statements artificial and somehow. You're a bad boy lol. . . . Lest I forgot, stop thanking me, It's needless~

Mr stevetboy09, it does not come as a suprise to me that you are exhibiting strange behavioural patterns lately. Infact, u have always exhibited tendencies which suggest that u are mentally derailed. I wouldn't like to pick up a quarrel with u, but i would like to point out some lapses in ur earlier statement. You said i should study Logic, but the way u post replies here on nairaland does not in any way show that u think logically, instead ur replies have shown that u are undergoing mental disorders and challenges; u seriously need 'Rehabilitation' and 'Overhauling'. You also mentioned in ur earlier statement that i shouldn't tell u 'Thank you'; you claimed that, the phrase aforementioned is irrelevant and uncalled for. Well, i guess your parents did not teach u how to say the phrase 'Thank You'; its a pity. You also pointed out the fact that i like seeking for trouble, i would like to say that i'm not in anyway a trouble seeker; you are the one who is likes trouble, this can be proved via ur posts on Nairaland. In a nutshell, i would advice u to groom urself into a gentleman(since ur parents failed to do so) and stop behaving like a mad dog and an untrained beast here on nairaland. Thank you. @ccollins, Don't mind that arrogant idiot, he would never take corrections!

Also raising the standard and prestige of colleges of education will help thin the amount of candidates seeking to enter the university.

TunsBobo (oh, that reminds me of Tuberculosis<TB> orgghss, *vomits*), When you are through with your crying, you can tell me.

If you were taught well at home,I mean taught well, you won't dare insult someone else's parents. Anyway, a mad man won't cease to recognise another mad man! If i'm mentally deranged, then you too must definatly be the great-grand father of madness!

I could have chose to ignore your replies but let it be.

I guess you are unhappy with your family therefore you chose to transfer aggressions, I bet, my family is the envy of others in our neighbourhood(in terms of anything good you can think of) so there is NOTHING you can say that will MOVE me, absolutely NOTHING.

Errh, you see, I just keep on wondering why someone like you got admitted into OAU, Now, the question is: has the school degenerated up to that extent?

I know you are frustrated but again nothing from you can move me, you'll only get high B.P from anger and hatred, nothing You've typed or will ever type on nl can increase my heart-beat or make me sad even for the slightest moment so you can continue crying while I enjoy myself! Cheers as I chill~
