Finally got the HTC Desire Z. I love d big screen & nice keypad... not yet a touch-only fan. Excellent hardware & software.

Battery is terrible... lasts just 4-5 hrs on heavy usage, doesn't last a day on standby. Overall, awesome phone. RIP Nokia.

Re: Android, Anyone? by puskin: 9:09pm On May 12, 2012
Dat thing don't work on my desire s too. It installed....was reading running...........but never read any of my messages, so I uninstalled the thing sharp sharp.
Personally,I don't like installing apps that haven't been downloaded like 100,000 times.

Dude brand new arc sells for 58k. Yes its upgradeable to ics, battery life is mediocre. I know a company in lag called Dallas. I could give you one of their numbers

Brand new desire s at affordables in computer village goes for 52k.

Their prices at affordables is suspect. How can they sell Desire for 59k and then sell Desire S for 52k? Can anyone confirm the authenticity of their products cause am looking at buying the bold 6. Don't like using the same phone twice else might get the Desire S

Well cant fully vouch for AFFORDABLES cos most of their stuff are refurbished tho they sell brand new to sha.
I can vouch for DSCL as per brand new stuff n dia recent price for Desire S is N59K.
I bought mine from them and I want to sell it at N60K cos am giving it off with an OOTTERBOX COMMUTER CASING which costs $38 i.e about N8k . . . . so i think mine is a fair deal wink

Yea its the newer bold touch thats slim, ain't all bb phone batteries bad? plus my HTC desire S wasn't so solid in the battery department too. My plan is to get an Android tablet and a bb....would love to use the Desire S again but lemme experiment with a bb

Hope am not commiting sacrilege talking bout a bb on this sacred Android forum

Your 'we don't really know about Motorola stuff in Nigeria' line is 100% Bullcrap.

In tablets, common sense dictates that the lighter, the better. You DO spend a lot of time holding it one-handed, after all.

Since you're so hell-bent on buying a generation 1 Tegra-2 powered Xoom which is built like a brick, don't let me (or common sense!) stop you. people with discerning minds know that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Asus Transformer are far better tabs than the Xoom. The Transformer has ICS now anyway.
this was d exact reason why i didnt bother to respond at first angry angry

@linkin8k ... like Tex said if u r bent on buying xoom then just buy it .... but know dat d Asus or Samsung far far and by far outweighs Motorola's Xoom
