Ogun State Government, Governor Dapo Abiodun on June 28, 2019 (months ago) announced plan to embark on fresh recruitment of graduates, skilled and unskilled persons, VAM News reports. Governor Dapo Abiodun said this at a closed-door meeting of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta, the state capital. A statement by Kunle Somorin, his Chief Press Secretary, quoted the governor as hinting that work has started on a portal to register, on a continuous basis, unemployed youths in the State with a view to providing them jobs suitable for their trade and academic qualification. A way to go... Other states especially Oyo should do same... If you take away the Corpers serving in OYO TESCOM, education will be dead there... There's need to infuse modern day techniques into teaching in Public schools to save the future of many kids who can't afford private schools. 7 Likes |

Same thing is happening in Oyo.. People like Amosun and Ajimobi even with thier childish character and pettiness had raised our expectation of governance.. Whenever I think of Ogun state, all their bad roads, crimes, poor infrastructures comes to mind. Despite producing the first person to ever rule this country twice, all the Agbado flyover bridge /road, Sango road, Abeokuta road etc and many abandoned project will be on my mind. Hope they will pay these ones, they want to employ now. They have not leverage on their proximity to Lagos to develop their state. 1 Like |
