Essay writing contests are available to students and professionals who want to write to compete (or wish to develop their writing skills), or want to take a further step in their career, while making extra money doing this. Each year, a number of essay writing competitions are sponsored by organizations or companies online to give applicants the opportunity to compete for a prize. The contest prize may vary from the hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Some essay contests are available to International and/or African Students and Professionals while other are restricted to a defined nationality.
