if u gat system, dowload the latest ovi suite, connect ur phone to the sytem using cable. go to options on the ovi suite there u see software update. click on it. note(u must be connect online)b4 doing this. the ovi suite authomatically checks for your phones updates.it will show new features available, then options for download appears u are good to go dude,

Thanks all, I was able to solve my problem with my email app. Apparently, the program had decided to remove my default settings for connecting and the place where you reconfigure this is hidden deep within d menus. Its always good to tinker around with your gadgets before crying for help.

Guru in the house, your help is seriously needed. I upgraded my e71 from 400 to 500 yesterday and it was successful. I then hacked the phone with the hellox that i formally used to hacked. It was successful. I now started to install my apps which were previously on the phone. All were successfuly installed only for me to notice that the phone browser was not opening. I now did a factory reset to correct it and The PHONE SCREEN WENT BLANK. IT IS NOT COMING ON PROPERLY. If i call the number the screen shows the normal display. I tried using it ovi suite, it was not recognised at all. It can not call out but it can receive. Please i need your help.

Do you mean to say you were using it the day before yesterday. Mine stopped since and it was when i was using it to download series episodes

@WackyJ1: I'm sure it had stopped quite a while back. It's just that I hadn't used it for about a week or more before I tried it. Is there any other substitute download manager?

My phone is now ok. Try the call+3+* combination and was able to restore my phone and it is stable though totally unhackable with helloox it kept on installing root cert till eternity.

Am using N95 too.The phone is a machine. First and foremost,upgrade ur firmware to version 35.0.002 then i will tell u how to maximize ur phone

Do u have Core Player installed on your phone? If yes, Uninstall it and try opening your phone browser again.

i reinstall my e71 firmware today and it is working fine. the phone itself can open .flv files and some other apps came bundled. the question now is the firmware 500.21.009 hackable. i dont want to spoil the phone again. i had core player installed before, are you saying its the cause of the blank screen. anyway i wont be needing it again.

i encountered the same problem with u. But when i uninstalled the core player, my phone web browser automatically started working back. i use Nokia E71

@1stknight and aiero-how did u download 4rm dat firmware site?which browser did you use?anytime i try downloading it bounces back.will i mark d box first before clicking check?pls i nid answers cos i nid to upgrade my 6120c.txs
