I pity those that will register .ng domains. After one year they will tell you to pay 150,000 Naira. |

Put aside skepticism and you stand a chance at a first-mover advantage. So far .ng domains have been quite good. |

OPPORTUNITY, For me it is a good thing. If you read the press release you will realise the intention is to popularise the .ng domain. That is a good thing. Don't be so overly suspicious of everything. Even Seun has registered nairaland.com.ng (although the site is not redirecting properly). Just see opportunity. |

Why register a .ng or .com.ng domain when you can get a .com for cheaper and quicker? |

felucci:Thank you very much. As far as i'm concerned .ng is no longer useful. If you're buying .ng domain because of google then it's imperative that you note that google does not only use country specific domain extension to know where a site is based. there are other things like the IP pf the host computer, the meta information and so on. |

so far so good. I have already registered one and no problem so far. I don't believe it's price will be as high as you say once it becomes popular. But .com still remains the best domain and still cheap too going at about #1,600. |

.ng domain name registration will get cheaper. The price would eventually become same as that of .com and the rest. Trust me. Since it is free currently? Why not register .ng equivalents of your existing websites? |
