News have it that President GEJ asked all schools to be shutdown for registration while his two children still attend school in Abuja. I just got this from GEJ's fanpage on Facebook.

Goodluck Jonathan -Fellow Nigerians, I know the voter registration exercise has been challenging, but since nothing good comes easy, I urge you all to endure till you are registered. I also appeal for patience from parents of pupils at home due to the school closure arising from the incidence. Also, contrary to media reports my own children who all school in Nigeria are at home like other Nigerian children.

I dont no where the media house that published the first story got their lead from.
