I know progskeet is about $60, while e3 is about $100 (it has more hardware). Either ways, no one seems to have it locally. Oh well, at least I have PSN. Maybe some brave soul could import one of these : they are reusable, and I'm guessing they can't be more harmful than the chips we used to/still use for other platforms.

^^ You missed the point. . . With or w/o hardware, you can only downgrade most consoles to the FW that shipped with it(factory/stock/default, pick a word!) at least.

Example

Check your model before you attempt to downgrade. If you brick your console, i WILL laugh

Once you upgrade past  3.55 there's no going back. Downgrading is so technically difficult that its not a real option for most people. You'll have to buy another PS3 on 3.55 or lower if you want to keep playing backups.

Either that or wait for another jailbreak which may or may not happen in our lifetime.

The Ps3 has a universal voltage. It will work in Nigeria or anywhere else irrespective of where u buy it from.

has anyone here ever experienced the so called ''Yellow Light of Death'' on their jailbreaked Ps3? Right now my Fat Ps3 beeps three times and switches off when am playing games from the HDD. The red console light keeps on flashing but will nt come on by pressing the PS button on controller except u switch it off manually from the back switch. From internet they say its a major hardware failure with hardly any soution for now. [color=#990000][/color]

The keys may be leaked but it will still take a while for the scene to make new CFW and transition all the homebrew apps to it.

But at least, we should be able to patch and play the 65 or so games that came out between 3.56 and 3.60. And if we're lucky, they'll find a better exploit that will make keys unnecessary in the future.

Most of the 3.56-3.60 games were already playable. With the new keys/TB DRM removal some games up to 4.00+ are now playable with more to follow!!

Happy days
