Guys, i think this is great for our country, well from my point of view, P.H and Benin City, there is a fair amount of decent power, electricity, for months now. In P.H, it lasts for 12-20 hours daily and in Benin for 10-22 hours daily. This is good.
If GEJ can sustain this then i'll vote for continuity. can i get a witness?

Aren't you being a tad selfish there? I mean you realize that for every hour of electricity you get to enjoy per day, some people out there are being deprived of hours more? This has been the USUAL CYCLE for over 20 years. Why would you praise this status quo?

^^ Depends on whether you view it as a status quo or a gradually improving situation. You can't supply electricity to everyone by waving a wand, but IF there appears to be progress in improving electricity generation/distribution, then there could be room for cautious optimism.

Who said anything about supplying everyone? Remove 2, add 2; we are still where we have been for a long time now.

debosky i have to admit theres been an overall improvement but i still think its a take from Peter to pay Paul scenario in PH. Except in GRA and some parts of town some say their light has improved, others are cursing PHCN.

@Loveking, you should know that it is Amaechi not Jonathan pushing for power in Rivers state, his plan is to make the state self sufficient in power, should even end up selling to the national grid.

Power has been down to less than 4 hours a day in my area since Christmas. Do I also rejoice and vote Goodluck as well with you, since according to you things are improving and we should ask for more of the same?
