The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) list of candidates from Ogun State, submitted on Monday. Rather, the INEC accepted the list produced by the Chief Dayo Soremi faction of the party which held a parallel congress at the Olusegun Obasanjo Library.

With the new development, candidates such as Chief Nasir Gboyega Isiaka and Lola Abiola Edewor who emerged as gubernatorial and senatorial candidates, respectively at the congress organized by the Chief Joju Fadairo-led chapter of the party loyal to the Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel, had since lost out.

Inec has appealed the ruling because it only recognize Daniels faction. I pray they do ou find a lasting solution to this so that Action Congress of Nigeria can Sweep then of the Power that belongs to the People which was usurped by the poverty development party. Anyway this swings. . . . , I see a lot of anti-party activities by PDP members in Ogun state in this April elections.
