Re: Igbo Delicacies by fstranger1: 1:22am On Feb 05, 2011 |
When did roasted corn and ube become an Igbo delicacy? Haba stop claiming what is strictly Yoruba Na we get roasted corn plus ube, no be Igbo |

fstranger1: Now I know your problem is inferiority complex. Italians, Latinos, Hausas, Ijaws, Igbos, etc eat roasted corn and calling it Igbo delicacy doesn't mean it can't be called Yoruba delicacy. Is your brain cavity stuffed with fat?. |

aloy/emeka: Nah, but I do know that your brain cavitarium is stuffed with Akpu, reason why you are so eager to label everything Igbo delicacy Typical Ibo, always tryna claim other people stuff as theirs Soon now, you go claim Iyan and Egusi as Ibo delicacy? Ole barawo bansa! |

I posted on this thread hoping others would contribute their own little delicacies so we could all reminisce about good all Nigerian Igbo foods. I was not expecting the likes of fstranger1 to bring his tribalistic rubbish into the thread. How pathetic if you ask me No wonder NL I used to love and hang out in is going down hill so fast. |

OgidiBoy: It's like he tracks every thread that has 'igbo" on it because he doesn't appear to be interested in food section but as soon as Igbo appeared here, Fstranger appeared too. |

Fstranger1 is just being silly. Does ube tree grow in your father's compound? What is it called in your local dialect cos ube is an Igbo word. |

There's this one my neigbour makes, calls it 'otor', its made from water yam. You get to grind fresh water yam and mould it in small balls into a boiling pot of stockfish, fresh fish, crayfish, maggi,pepper/onions and redoil. Its a delicious meal |
