The nation controversial publication came as a comic relief, i hope is not one of tinubu's mischief. The paper has two identical photographs on the front page staring the reader. On the right is a familiar photograph of obj, Zero Zero if you like, and on the left is an old black-and-white photograph of obj look-alike. In the caption, the newspaper makes it clear that the photograph on the left is not that of Olusegun Obasanjo .The man in the picture, it says, was an Igbo police officer who lived in the Abeokuta area in the 1930s, about the time Obj was born. The police officer later became a monarch on a prominent South-Eastern throne. But before leaving the South-West, he interracted fruitfully with the local community and had a brief affair with an Owu lady. The newspaper didn’t say more. There was no need to. So does that now mean that the Igbo have had their shot at the presidency (1999-2007), |

TO Xtycod and Docokwy just for once imagine it happens to be true that Masi olusegun Aremu Igbochukwu Ubasonjo is a descent of an Igbo Igwe, Tell us whether you will have to bottle now to talk about Ubasonjo the way you have been doing. A Nigerian is a Nigerian in my own opinion whether or not he/she from North,South West, east or Central If for a minute the story is true, it confirm a Yoruba adage 'when we throw a stone at the market it may ended up hitting our family' A word is enough for the wise, all the tribal superdaft people on this site irrespective of your tribe. learn now. it may later traspire that your own family are from the tribe you are attacking and abusing God continue to look after me and my family and My great Country NIGERIA |

docokwy: Na wetin I dey see so? Eh, Docokwy you want to tell me that you doubt Orji Kalu's story? Hehehehehe. . . were you not the same person that agreed Orji must have been serious, when he said Obasanjo knelt down for him? Do you remember that thread? You wan come dey talk another thing now. Abeg, forget that Oba Ojelade wey dey claim say, OBJ na Owu man. He no sabi di real gist, jare! |

Re: Obj Son Of An Ibo Man by docokwy(m): 6:23pm On Jun 18, 2007 |
Obj himself has the last say on whom he is. You cannot influence anything on that. Politically-speaking, it won't be a bad idea because it means Igbos will rule twice (OBJ fake igbo; and the real Onyeigbo). And why the link to Uba family? Do you see any semblance between that ugly and montrous OBJ and the fine-looking albeit corrupt Uba people? |
Re: Obj Son Of An Ibo Man by Nobody: 9:01pm On Jun 18, 2007 |
This is really disrespectful to Obasanjo, I can imagine a bunch of idiots having a field day with my paternity! |
Re: Obj Son Of An Ibo Man by docokwy(m): 9:34pm On Jun 18, 2007 |
This is one of the usual conspiracy theories of the Yoruba when they want to be greedy. It is all about contesting for the presidency when it reverts to the south. They are already scheeming in advance. But thanks to the power of genomics, it will be very easy to identify OBJ's paternity via DNA fingerprinting. For starters, just provide me a probe of his blood, that of a member of the onitsha family of the so-called Igbo father (since the man himself is dead already); a probe from OBJ's mother or mother's relation, and one from OBJ's uncle or ''Yoruba father's'' family. You will get the result in a couple of hours. Otherwise, a true and authenticated photo of the '' Igbo father'' supplied by his family in onitsha can be compared to the one now circulating by phoyo experts. I have a gut feeling the two pictures belong to Obasanjo. Remember the boundless possibilities with the computer regarding image doctoring? If the story is false, then the guy should sue the arse of the defamers for all they are worth. But if eventually Obj's father is Igbo (TUFIAKWA! OLORUN MAJE) , then the Yoruba will be the losers because they allowed ''a bastard'', son of a ''woman of easy virtue'' to usurp their opportunity. It also means that the Yoruba has not tasted power in Nigeria, except for Shonekan. Buhhahahahaha Lets watch and see how this plays out. |

the nation newspaper is really a useless medium and its readage is only fit for dogmatic fellows.i cant imagine how a newsprint can condescend to such a low in order to cast aspersion on the man 'obasanjo'.ibelieve legal actions should be taken against "the nation" so as to serve as a lesson to other junk newsprints like "the nation" |

Re: Obj Son Of An Ibo Man by laudate: 10:40am On Jun 19, 2007 |
tpia: Your opinion is a valid one, jare! My own opinion sha, is that someone in OBJ's family should ask di man to do a test, to confirm or dispprove the rumours. Look at it this way. If it turns out to be true that Igwe Onyejekwe is his father, that means OBJ would be a real-life Onitsha prince. Chei! The mind boggles at the endless possibilities that could arise, from a positive DNA result. And if it turns out that the whole thing is a hoax. . . ah, well. . . we would all have had a good laugh, at OBJ's expense. Hehehehehe. . .nothing spoil! |

xtycod: Anyway, you have never been to Lagos, that is why you are talking like this. I pray the rescue team will be able to pull out all those trapped in those houses, quickly so they can receive treatment in time. Once the evacuation is complete, someone should remind those Lagosians to send their medical bills to you, as well as the cost of the rescue effort. Or have you forgotten that you were the one who gave the cement mixers tutorials, on how to carry out their nefarious practice?? They are just following your footsteps, o! You really ought to be proud of yourself!! |
