What os you got running on your Bold 2? I bet its OS6 !!!! Either delete unwanted apps or downgrade to OS5.
To effectively run OS6 on your bold 2, you probably can only have 2 - 3 3rd party apps running + always monitoring your application memory status.

my curve 5 heat up after charge n battery drain within 15 minute...os 7.1 what should i do.

Please I bought a fairly used Bold 1 bb 9000. And after subscribing, the phone doesn't connect to BIS. It doesn't even use the phone's mobile browser service. Have tried MTN and Glo, still no show. But my subscription is still on. Please advise me on what to do. The carrier is AT & T.

It seems the phone is faulty. I suggest you return the phone and request for a replacement. Try and test the phone with a BIS activated sim card before leaving.

O s'6 and is there any other way of deleting unwanted sms,mails or chart messages from the phone memory ?

i need help pls,am using storm1 bb,the problem is that the phone will charge and stop and secondly its always hot and drained d battery. and lastly its always complaining of low application memory.i dont have applications on it.pls wht do i do.thanks @ engineers in da rum.

I have been having problem with my app world over a week now. My appworld icon disappeared on my phone, but when i try to re download it i got a notification that it still on my phone so i click on [b]Option - Device- Application Management [/b]and i saw it there with other applications but the problem is that i can't move it. I have deleted and re install it many times but the icon refuse to show on home screen menu my download folder is gone too.
I need urgent assistance plssssss!

. Dude download a lower version of appworld . Google is ur friend. Don't download 4.0.63 go for appworld 4.0.55 and after downloading dnt upgrade. 4.0.63 is for OS 7

leckjazzy: I'm using  9650. I reset my phone some month ago.I have downloaded app world but I can't find it on my phone menu(menu list) and also on the search list. The only place I often see it is in the 'Apllication management' list. I have deleted it and re-downloaded it but the problem still persist. I even upgraded it at times but I later deleted it because it those not bring any change.
Pls sir kindly give me the link to download the old version. I presume that will work.

Here is the link for the old version and when you download it don't upgrade it because the latest version is for Os 7.

According to what u said ; your Bb needs to be formatted to clear d memory .
U also need to take take ur Bb to aN hardware gsm Engineer to rectify the way it drains d battery.

Hello unclesam,
Is it possible for me to upgrade the OS of my storm 9520? I think the one on my phone is OS5. Secondly, how much will it cost to repair the screen of my phone? It accidentally fell from my hand (actually it occurred on numerous occasions) and its not responding anymore. The screen isn't the soft touch type.

It seems hardlocked or is hardlocked? Have you checked unlock status ? Options - device - advanced systems settings - click on sim card - press and hold shift and press MEPD. Lets know what your device status states.

You might have entered incorrect codes of MEP2 10 times ...

it has solution but l need to know the present status of the phone...

Both phones are almost identical in features. The only difference is the 9930 can also be used on CDMA lines. Is there any blackberry device that doesn't crash occasionally?
