AC Milan
Massimiliano Allegri is unable to call upon January signings Urby Emanuelson, Mark van Bommel and Antonio Cassano as they are all ineligible having played in the Champions League already with their former clubs this season.

Gianluca Zambrotta will miss out, so Massimo Oddo and Ignazio Abate are vying for a spot at right-back, while Luca Antonini looks set to get the nod at left-back.

It has already been confirmed that Andrea Pirlo has been ruled out for several weeks, which means he looks set to also miss the return leg at White Hart Lane.



Tottenham
Tottenham have a number of selection problems ahead of the match, with Luka Modric leading the list of players who could be unavailable. But as exclusively revealed by Goal.com UK, Harry Redknapp will make a late decision on the Croatian.

Gareth Bale will not be given the chance to return to the San Siro, where he scored a hat-trick against Inter earlier this season, as Redknapp has confirmed the Welshman will miss out.

Rafael van der Vaart looks set to return to the starting line-up after a calf injury, but Peter Crouch is doubtful with a back injury.

Younes Kaboul, Ledley King and Tom Huddlestone are still injured, while Jermaine Jenas misses out through suspension.

Seriously. . . . this spurs team do not have a clue. Fine they're running their socks off and forcing the issue; but if they don't have a healthy lead by the 70th minute, i wonder how some of their players will finish the match --- Crouch is already gasping for breath like a fish outta water, Palacios, VDV & Lennon look like they will not make it beyond the 75min mark.
Milan might be playing at a slower, boring pace --- maybe inadvertently --- but seems the sensible thing to be doing given the conditions.

& i bet that also means that the standard of the Eredivisie is now higher than the Calcio!!?

The way i see it, spurs should be thanking their stars that the Milan players are 30-somethings cuz if all they could achieve after all this plenty huffing & puffing was the decimation of poor ol' Abbiati, then they got loads to learn about playing in the UCL.

Be wary of these 30-somethings, they have experience on their side & dem no dey buy am for market
