Guys plz help me out with dis puzzle...my fiancee was born in canada but d dad is frm US and mum from MIDDLE EAST though she neva lived in canada....but she had spent most of her life time in several part of europe so she refer to herself as MUTT and presently she's in the state schooling and she's an upcoming singer too in d state. But now we're planning of coming together,but she does not want to live in d state coz she believe europe is more beautiful...and she asked me to choose a country i love in europe but we finally agreed on manchester UK...bt wat i think now is that since she's nt a citizen of UK or even europe it wont really favour me coz i dnt knw ao she can help...But i can bring her down to naija coz she's also willing...so guys do u think if i solemnize d relatnshp in nigeria going to d canada or US wil be easy...coz i can convince her for canada atleast and nt US...plz gud suggestns.

I would like to use this medium to share my experience at the US consulate yesterday for a family B1/B2 visa application which was approved by the Grace of God.

Us(Spouse&I): Goodmorning with smiles

Vo: Kept typing on the Computer screen for 1min.
Vo: Is this the first time you are applying for US visa?
Us: Yes

pls i had an interview in the us consulate embassy on the 18th of October 2012, i was asked the following question, if have been to the us before, my purpose of going to the us and if have traveled to any other country which answer yes and i did mention the countries have been, the consulate look at me and replied my case requires more administrative processing just want to found out how long does these process takes has anyone been given these condition at the consulate and did the consulate reschedule another interview on issues like these. pls awaiting your response.

i had my interview in November and my b1/b2 visa was granted with ease. The VO didnt even sight any document
just asked why i was travelling, how long i have practised my profession in Nigeria and if i was going for medical visit. And God took control and a slip was given me to pick my visa at VFS.

He equally asked if i had travelled out of the country before which i have and i named the countries i had visited. No much questions

Good evening house,please i would like advice and suggestion for this case;

Mr A is gradaute(jst finshed in Oct.2012) awaiting NYSC batch A 2013. He got an invitation from a friend in PA in the USA. Also Mr. A. parents are seminarians in the USA on F-1 visa

1. What documents do u suggest he goes with for the interview? The interview is in the first week of January 2012.

2. Mr A parents are the ones paying for his trip, is that ok?

Hi, I am not really an active member on this forum, I had my interview at the US embassy on the 13th of December and I promised myself I would come and share my testimony here.
I was very nervous before I had the interview cause this was my first time at the Us embassy.
This was how my interview went
VO: where in the us have you going to?
Me: New York
VO: what would you be doin in New York?
Me: holiday
VO: where have you been to
Me: London,Paris,Spain,china,Milan,brazil,Ghana,dubai,S.A
VO:what do you do
Me: I run a well established interior company
Vo:how much do u have?
Me: 6 digits and thousand in my Dom acc and also fix deposit
VO: how many pple work for u
Me: about 9
Vo: are u pregnant?
Me: no
VO: are you married?
Me: no
VO: do you have kids
Me: no
VO: pick up your passport on Tuesday from the Vfs office
Me: thank you, and have a nice day

It's really God my people, just dress up well and be very confident. That is what really matters. The guy that interviewed me didn't deny anyone all thru I waited till my turn. I prayed he should be the 1 to interview me and he was. I give God all the glory, He has really been faithful to me.

I guess its d dark fat guy dat interviewd you, I was also @ d embassey on the 13th. I got denied *sadface* but oh well I got some usful tips snd also found out that you can lie to increase your chances

It was the skinny white guy on glasses that interviewed me, I felt the black guy was a lil mean to pple. Sorry about ur denial.

You should contact the person that handle your immigrant status before applying again .Good luck.
