How far is the estate from the Lagos Ibadan Expressway?

How many minutes drive to the International Airport, Ikeja?

Thank you for your question. Although a distance test drive from the Murtala International Airport to the Platinum Park Estate in Magboro had never been conducted. However, we have to carry out the test so as to come up with an answer. Please also bear in mind that we have to factor in the traffic nature of lagos, considering the day and time of the week when such test would be conducted. Nevertheless, an answer would be provided very soon.

We are still working on the Platinum Park Estate Directional Map in relation to the popular Lagos/Ibadan Expressway. It would be uploaded today as promised. However here are a few graphics showing the Government Letter of Ratification, and the Approved Lay-out Plan.

How many minutes drive to the International Airport, Ikeja?

We did a distance drive test yesterday (Sunday 27-02-2011). This was how we drove, and the results obtained:

Beecham bus stop (near the International Airport Terminal) --> Maryland bus stop:  7 minutes;

Maryland bus stop --> Old 7-Up Toll gate:  9 minutes;

Old 7-Up Toll gate --> Magboro Junction (Beside MFM Church Camp):  8 minutes;

Magboro Junction --> Platinum Park Estate: 10 minutes (this timing was due to rough terrain untarred road between the two points).


We just exploited one out of the several options available to get to the destination. For instance, from the Airport road, one could drive through Mobolaji Bank Anthony road, drive through Ikeja Central Business District, and then to the Secretariat in Alausa, join the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway via the Otedola Jubilee Estate, and head towards Magboro.
Another option could be to go through Agidingbi road in Ikeja, this leads to Ojodu-Berger, and then to the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, and to Magboro.
