Dear Nairalanders,

Dr. Yusuf Toyib has been missing since Saturday 12th September, 2020. He was suspected to have been kidnapped while on a journey with his fellow colleague (Dr. Shola Kofi) yesterday evening along Ogbomosho Expressway.

Dr. Kofi was stabbed on the chest during the attack but thank God he is stable and alive. The plate number of his car is SMK 331DU, a wine color Toyota Camry.
The police are also on the search to find Dr. Toyib and his car.

UPDATE ON THE MISSING DOCTOR

NMA KWARA got to know of the 'kidnap' of Dr. Toyeeb Yusuf around 11am today, 13th September,2020. He was said to have been transiting KWARA from Ibadan to his place of work in Niger State around 7.30pm yesterday, when he was whisked away in his car by unknown assailants. This happened along Ogbomoso-Ilorin express road, close to Eyenkorin, while trying to assist his friend(Dr. Jaiyeola) who had a flat tyre. Dr.Jaiyeola was stabbed in the chest but managed to drive himself to a nearby clinic (Abogunrin Clinic) where he received first aid overnight.

NMA Kwara facilitated his immediate movement to General Hospital, Ilorin where he is currently receiving treatment. He is however very stable.

As regards the missing doctor, his car has been found along the express in Ogbomoso but as at the time of writing this, his whereabouts remain unknown and his abductors have not made contact.

The issue has been reported to the leadership of all necessary security agencies in the State and they are currently assisting in the investigations.

We have also reached out to NMA NIGER AND OYO, as well as relevant authorities in the State.

We pray for his safe release back to his family unhurt and we ask kindly that if anyone has any information or suggestions that will help find him, please kindly reach out to the Secretary of NMA KWARA on 08035824301.

That doctor Koffi should be questioned very very well, I don't trust his story at all. Humans are very evil and even the Bible confirms that "the heart of man is desperately wicked".

I pray he is found.

They should try and check Soka annex 2.
