maybe the same thing that happened to mbc on nilesat has happened on badr too.they are said to have moved their package to the new atlantic bird 4a @7.2w.lets monitor it for sometime before we are sure this is true.

no. you can't track nilesat on 90cm yet in lagos. you need a minimum dish size of 1.8m solid.

@ all My mbc on badr4 is still on here in owerri though i am not in owerri at the moment but confirmed it from my siblings

@All the m.b.c channels are still there but not showin although i did not scan today before leavin d house but as of yesterday i rescaned i got back mbc drama and zee aflan but you know the channel is somehow useless
No problem av got two new movie channels Time Movies(comin soon) and panorama action on badr maybe later in the evening i will rescan

yes indeed!all the mbcs are back although they're scrolling some frequencies in arabic.lets hope they're not informing viewers of any intention to migrate permanently.

@George D, Arsenal and others,

I have a 2.4m solid pan which unfortunately I was unable to use in tracking Nilesat from the west.
Based on what I have read so far is it possible now to trach the MBCs on the East side using BADR.

if this is possible pls. let me know as I had left the dish hanging there facing heaven @ 0" for over a year now.

Please note West satelites are out of the question.

if you live in the south-south, your best bet for mbc is badr with a 2.4m solid dish.

badr with 2.4m in lagos unfortunately is very difficult to track. you can ask good members like olofofo and badaru for better advice.
