Rubbish as expected

Nigerians are very religious and sentimental.  Jonathan's picture won him at least 2 million votes.  In a country like Nigeria, such a picture shows humility and an implied endorsement from the biggest religious figure in the SW and possibly Nigeria.

Buhari's picture obviously shows Buhari exuding dignity as he always does.  But Jonathan's picture is what wins elections.

Nigerians are very sentimental.  I met so many people who told me that they were voting for GEJ because they believed that he was chosen by God to lead us.  During the election many Nigerians saw Goodluck as "The Chosen One".  To many Nigerians, that was a picture of Adeboye, the most revered and respected religious figure in the country, confirming that GEJ is[b] "The Chosen One".[/b]

2 million may be an exaggeration. But still this picture won him some extra votes.
