Remember – war is evil unless it’s sprinkled with the magic pixie dust of UN endorsement and “humanitarian” rhetoric, in which case the dead bodies, the terror, and the screaming children are all worth it. The fact that Libya is the richest oil nation on the entire African continent is a mere coincidence. Go back to sleep – basketball is on the TV. Soon you’ll be able to crack open a 6 pack and enjoy the air strikes like you would a Dwyane Wade slam dunk.

People love to talk without being objective. Lets consider the pros and cons of the no fly zone. Who are the most beneficiaries of this oil rich country in the event of war, why are there selective approach to insurrections i.e isreal - palestine, bahrain, hutu -tutsis? Why is the west always at the forefront of deposing leaders of oil rich nations and others not willing to be their stooges at the slighest opportunity of insurrections i.e Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Cuba e.t.c IT IS BOLDLY WRITTEN ON THE WALL. Oil, oil and more oil for the western countries and their oil companies and more income for western nations and orgnisations dealing in hitech ammunitions of war. australians are distant cousins of the UK - their support for UK interventions did not start today, they played major roles in the second world war along with new zealand and cananda - they are one and the same people and unlike black african people ALWAYS unite with their UK brothers to face down a common enemy.

France is part of the EU offensive but sarkozy is determined to lead the assault because of his desperate need to coverup his corrupt dealings with gadaffi especially since Gadaffi's son's threat to expose him.

By your assessments, anyone and everyone who supports an action of a western leader is a traitor, saboter and a western puppet!

Anyone who receives military aid from the west is a western puppet!. . .if we follow this logic more closely, then China and Russia ought to be UK toys, considering the fact that until very recently, both countries receive millions in pounds from the UK government, and India is to continue receiving aids till about 2015.

Oh! and Russia is still recieving aids from the United States, yet both countries are never on the same page, policy wise.

Why exactly does it become too hard for you to believe that these countries, are willing to collaborate with the west, to save Libyans from the cold torture of their government? Are you saying Libyan diplomats who resigned their positions and called for International assistance did so under the influence of the west as well?

Its unfortunate that african leaders support this grand scheme by the US and some other western nations to recolonise libya just because of its OIL WEALTH. They got a perfect opportunity of an uprising teleguided from washington and other western nations whose major interest is oil and not libyans interest. thanks for posting this deejay, i actually watched this a couple of years ago, it was this guy that really helped me understand what is really going on in the world today, sadly he passed away in 2007, he also directed a documentary called freedom to fascism which details how the federal reserve hijacked the US economy, very very illuminative and interesting, people like him are to be commended for their courage and fearlessness, thats why i laugh when i read the gibberish from pretend intellectuals like morpheus - the people who actually matter, the movers and shakers of the world like this guy knew the score, and there are many more like him who are intent on educating the public - thanks again bro.
