Breaking News! James Ibori Granted Bail by ochado: 12:49pm On Apr 02, 2011
THEWILL can authoritatively report that Chief James Onanefe Ibori has been released by authorities in Dubai.

A source told THEWILL that though he is yet to speak to him, he was released on health grounds.

THEWILL checks however revealed that the former governor was given 'a temporary reprieve' because his health had deteriorated recently as he is known to suffer from high blood pressure.

Chief Ibori was temporarily released weekend to get some needed adequate medical care as he continues to battle his extradition to London.

Ibori's lawyers had filed bail papers not long ago according to sources familair with the matter, but the full details of his release are still being kept under wraps from THEWILL.

But a source said it is not yet uhuru for the former governor and his supporters and asked those who wish the politician well to continue to say prayers for him, not just for his tribulations but most especially, for his deteriorating health.

THEWILL's attempt to get an official statement from Chief Ibori or his associates have so far been unsuccessful.

I hope GEJ is not thinking of bringing him back to Naija with a presidential jet in other for him to come and do what he knows best in election rigging.

I wont be surprised if he does that , afterall he did it for Teslim Folarin just to get one delegate vote.

it would have really been a nice election run if buhari supporters can really discuss issues, but every post they post is one insult after another. they like to engage in name calling and blackmail and bullying. if this is the Nigeria we are going to experience if buhari wins then it is sad. i wont discuss with them again because they dont sound like really intelligent articulate people. most of them do not live in Nigeria though so they have no clue of the people's sentiments and inclination.

They might as well release the all the prisoners in jail since Ibori is not the only inmate with medical conditions.

When was the last time any prisoner got released from jail because of high blood pressure? Are so dumb and clueless to honestly swallow the fact that Dubai prison system can not manage a common blood pressure condition or that they lack blood pressure medication?



This s'hit stinks from Dubai all the way back to Nigeria/Aso Rock.

So far PDP looses the presidential elections, he will surely serve his time in jail on all the other thieves that are still taking chieftancy titles, national honours, honourary doctorate degrees at the moment.
