This is the difference btw Nigeria and US for example. We shouldn't assume that what we do get under Buhari will be what we want, it may just be what we haven't got right now.

We dont actually know which direction he will take Nigeria, but we have a very good idea of what we will get under JEG and PDP. Unless ofcourse JEG is waiting to be president in his own right to completely overhaul PDP and Nigeria's political landscape for the better (not just economically). This is highly unlikely though, but not impossible.
