i intend to start a small scale poultry for egg production with about 150 birds in an uncompleted building(with windows, kind of a boys quarter attached to my house) but though i have an open space at my back yard too.
so my question are
is it okay to use the uncompleted building?

i have no means of getting income that is no job except family and friends intervention ... xo aw much money will suffix before profits start coming in to sustain?
would day old or point of lay be preferred ?

advice and suggestions needed. thanks

Having same issues as @bigthingz above....production dropped from 75 % to 64% after series of treatment and medication....
Was told the heat and weather could be the cause.
I gave them multivitamins consistently for 2 weeks. Could this have affected them....the day I stopped the vitamins. ..production decline started. Now even with multivitamins, production still continued to decline....Pls I need help....any advice or suggestions is welcome....nothing changed between peak and now except for multivitamins. ...Pls help

pls feed them very early around 5 am n give fresh and cool water so that before 8 am they are resting n drinking water n have enough energy to withstand heat stress. continue with supplements, cool water and give artificial light from 7pm till 9pm for 2weeks. where is your location so that I can advice about Newcastle.

It is wrong, allow them to pay to at least 5% capacity before boosting, it's like using fertility drugs when you have not even started menstruation.

Go for Rico Gado, Hybrid or Top feed.

i say they have reduced their quantity in their bags and not quality oh! Its 1.5 paint bucket against the normal 2 paint bucket for 25kg bag. Its likely also the quality is also down. Anything i feed my noilers with vitalfeed grower mash, they loose a lot of feathers as compared to Rico Gado feeds.
