Condolences have continued pouring in for the Awolowo dynasty that lost one of its shining lights, Otunba Ayodele Olubusola Soyode (Nee Awolowo), one of the children of the sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Reports filtering in yesterday also indicated that Prince Adegoyega ‘Gbegi’ Ojora, 51, son of prominent businessman Otunba Adekunle Ojora has died.

Gbegi, a credible source said passed on yesterday from liver complications at First Consultant Hospital in Lagos.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole has commiserated with the matriarch of the Obafemi Awolowo family, Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo, on the death of her daughter, Mrs Ayodele Olubusola Soyode.

Also, Kwara State Governor, Dr Bukola Saraki has commiserated with Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo, the entire Soyode and Awolowo families on the death of Mrs Ayodele Soyode.

According to Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the late Mrs. Ayo Soyode never departed from the legacy left behind by her father, late Chief Obafemi Awolowo throughout her life.

In the same tone, the former Governor of the state, Chief Olusegun Oni condoled with family of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo over the death of one of his daughters, Mrs Ayo Soyode.

Also Dr Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State, yesterday, commiserated with the family of the late sage, Pa Benjamin Obafemi Awolowo over the death of one of his children, Otunba Ayodele Olubusola Soyode who died on Sunday.

Meanwhile, reports reaching Vanguard indicate that Prince Adegoyega ‘Gbegi’ Ojora, 51, son of prominent businessman Otunba Adekunle Ojora has died.

Gbegi, a credible source said passed on yesterday from liver complications at First Consultant Hospital in Lagos.
Until his death, Gbegi was a lawyer and a businessman with interest in banking, telecommunications, insurance and publishing. He also served on the Vision 2010 Committee and the Lagos Transitional Council. He is happily married, with kids.
