There is an argument between some people about a Professor in English language in Nigeria, they argued that there is no Professor English Language in Nigeria apart from Professor Wole Soyinka, is it true? Pls who are the Professors?

@ poster, Are you a primary school pupil? there a million of professor of English language in Nigeria before wole Soyinka and after him, come to Englisg department in UNILAG and there are up to 5 i guess

Plst don't mind him,d fame of wole soyinka due 2 d nobel laureate he won,dats why d guy is confused dat maybe he is d only english prof from naija. Anyway,d question would av be like dis "Is soyinka d only prof. frm naija dat had won d nobel laureate in literature" lol.

Soyinka is actually a playwright.. He is a Professor of Dramatic Arts not English Language..
